Another shimmering look at the Neverwas…

The Neverwas Is Event at The Washes only has a few more days for you to scoop up the incredible sales and bargains the wonderful stores have put together for you, so if you haven’t been down to check it out, hurry up and do so before these magical items vanish!

Tonight we’re showcasing Lushish Catz and Dark Water Designs. Lushish Catz has a terrific selection of outfits for the discerning shopper, ranging from some pretty casual pieces to a great “Jungle Diva” look. They also have included some items for the guys, and a few lovely accessory pieces. We have not shown everything they have set out here, but these are some of our favorite outfits, as well as a peek at the gorgeous leopard shirt they have set as their free gift.

Dark Water Designs has put together their “Fae Bouquet”, a selection of pretty little dresses complete with matching wings and hair wreaths that pay homage to nature. They have also created a set of shimmering metallic snakeskin booties, which would be a nice touch for that darker, Evil Queen inside of you. The Fae Bouquet outfits and the metallic booties are exclusives for this event and not available in the store. Both the outfits and the booties are also available in discounted fatpacks for the duration of the event. Their free gift for shoppers is a lovely pastel rose headpiece.

The Magical Mystery Tour of Neverwas Is Continues…

Heartsick is known for gorgeously beautiful skins and their offerings for the Neverwas Is Event at The Wash is no exception. They have 2 beautifully detailed skins from their Deity series, Leviathan and Storm, which include male or female skins plus shapes. These skins are available for a fraction of their normal price and are really a steal! Heartsick also has 2 pairs of boots, Daemon and Neko Fusion, which are not available in their shop and which will only be available on Martetplace after the end of the Neverwas Is Event. As if that isn’t enough goodness to spoil us with, they have also put together a grab-bag assortment of bits and pieces that includes a skin, wings, tail and ears, tattoo layers and eyes in one lovely freebie box as a gift.

We also have a peek at a gorgeous gown from Pink Label. The dress is called Tattered Moon Flower and comes with both long and short skirts (we’ve shown the long below). They have set an insanely low price for this lovely outfit, which is also an exclusive for the Neverwas Is Event. They have also set out a giftbox which contains shoes that match the gown perfectly. The shoes come in 2 styles and are V2 compatible.

Do You Believe In Magic?

We have another set of stores to present tonight from the Neverwas Is Event at The Wash. DCD has created an absolutely stunning trio of circlets befitting any Princess or Fairy Queen. The delicate Rose Circlet and Sphere Circlet are exclusive to the Neverwas Is Event, and will not be available in the store until after the event ends. The luminescent Abalone Circlet is graciously being given as a free gift.

We also have a glimpse into the darker side of the mystical, magical world with some lovely skins and accessories from The Little Bat. There are beautifully detailed Fae and Vampire skins, as well as wings, horns, eyes, even a devilishly dark manicure to help complete your look. Additionally, they have a freebie box at their stump at the Neverwas Is Event which contains a drow skin with eye makeup designs, drow shape, a pair of black flexi wings, and a pair of creepy red eyes (not pictured below).

From Dragons to Hummingbirds…

The Neverwas Is Event is underway at The Wash, and we have a few of the lovely items from RVi Design to show you. Rvi Design has put together some stunning decor items that will definitely bring a sense of magical wonders to your home or sim. They have many more items than we are showing here, but we wanted to highlight a few of the best for you: a beautiful fairy-topped fountain, a set of dragon statues with 2- or 3-headed options (the 2-headed statue is available by itself as well), and a set of bottled fairy dust which would great as a finishing touch to an outfit if you choose the wearable bottles or as a decorative touch hanging from a wall. They have also created a beautiful blue fairy bouquet which they are giving as their gift to you.

We also have some truly exquisite jewelry from Gem Elegance to show you. The pictures do not do the pieces justice – many of them have subtle movement to the textures which make it look as though the hummingbird wings are fluttering slightly and some of the gems seem to have magic swirling in their depths. The effect in-world is stunning. The pieces are delicate and not overwhelming, and would be an elegant way to bring a touch of whimsy to those special occasions. “And visions of sugarplums danced in their heads…”

Okay, it’s not quite Christmas, but thanks to A.R.C.+F.N., you can find sugarplum elves at the Neverwas Is Event already! They have put together a collection of fantasy skins and avatars for you that are absolutely stunning. The Elf series is beautiful, with matching ears that come pierced or non-pierced. The complete avatars are gorgeous, with fantastic attention paid to all the little details that really bring the different looks to life. Additionally, they have come up with 2 really great builds for the mermaids out there – a pearl shell and a beautiful aquatic tank.

A.R.C.+F.N. have slashed their prices for this event tremendously. If you love fantasy and you love making your avatar really express your inner fae, this is definitely a sale you don’t want to miss – at these prices, these looks are a steal! Neverwas Is Magic is spreading….

We’ve got another peek at the fabulous items awaiting you fantasy lovers at the Neverwas Is event currently going on over at The Wash. Remember this is a limited time event, so be sure to head over and check out the wonderful items these talented designers have put together to celebrate Magic and all its creative influences in Second Life.

First up, Sentou Yousei (Battle Fairy). I *love* these booties. They are so richly textured and the easy style is versatile enough to do any pixie proud. The booties are 50% off the normal store prices for the duration of the event, and come in 2 styles and a plethora of colors. They work equally well for men, by the way -no overblown girly touches to them, and I can easily see them as part of some sumptuous, regal Elven king outfit. Sentou Yousei’s free gift is Timmy, an absolutely adorable little fellow who sits on your head.

We also have some gorgeous goodies from Ear Candy to show you. The Neverwas Is set is beautiful: earrings, pendant necklace, and2 bracelets all worked with a silver winged motif. They have also created the Rose Infused ring and 2 pairs of really great shoes (the Neverwas suede boho sandals and the Pink Fairy Wings velvet sandals). These are simple, elegant touches to bring a hint of magic to any outfit. Additionally, they have a beautiful long pendant necklace as a free gift, showcasing a silver unicorn.

Neverwas Is Event has begun!

There is a definite tingling sensation in the air at The Wash these days – the beginning of the Neverwas Is Event has crept into the sim and magic is blooming everywhere you look! The Neverwas Is will be taking place from November 9 to November 23, sponsored by Sentou Yousei (Battle Fairy), and this is truly a magical event. If you love fantasy, magic, all the special little sparkly bits of epic imagination that Second Life allows, you will not want to miss this! Twenty designers have come together with a fantastical collection of items to meet just about any taste for the mystic you may wish to indulge. Each vendor has put out a selection of items which include at least one brand new design at a marked down price, one freebie gift, and a bunch of other goodies at normal or sale prices. Over the next few days, we are going to be showing off some of the gorgeous gifts and sale items, so be sure to come by the sim and check out the event.

Wee Ones has 4 gorgeous little pixie shapes available at their stump. Each shape comes with the avatar shape, ears, and the shown modesty layers. Skin/hair/wings are not included. These little cuties are 50% off for this event and an absolute steal! Additionally, Wee Ones has a beautiful necklace as their free gift, called the Pixie Necklace, with a teensie bit of subtle bling that really sets it off beautifully.

My favorite of the great items by Graffitiwear would have to be their collection of Faun outfits for men and women, available in black, brown or white fur.
