We have more great stuff from the Cart Sale to share with you today! Remember, the sale event runs until March 22nd, so be sure to make some time to head over to The Wash and explore the carts – we are showing you guys a lot of what is there, but there is even more to see than what we have here.
AKA Ass Kicking Angels brings us a bevy of brightly colored outfits, including a great biker theme set for the guys. The colors are bold, the designs will catch attention, and for 10L, are an easy way to make some spring additions to your wardrobe. Plus, St. Paddy’s Day is coming – here’s a chance for a cute leprechaun outfit!
Bizarre Hair is offering a variety of interesting pieces this time around – the boots are especially gorgeous with lots of detailing! Two of the hairs come in fatpacks and include more colors than what we have shown here. The coats look similar in style, but vary in the detailing on the sleeves and front of the coat.
Next up is Cookie. Again, they have brought a variety of items for the Cart Sale, ranging from fairy skins to a fairy in a bird cage to a fatpack of T’s for him and her. My inner nerd squee’d in delight when I tried on the bandaged glasses – they were a perfect fit right out of the box and are going into my Accessories folder for sure!
DCD brought us a very pretty collection of bangles this year. They have 6 different styles of wide band bangles with gems, as well as a delicate diamond necklace and matching drop earrings (sold separately). The bangles offer several choices in band texture and gemstone color and for 10L each, you can easily afford to stock up on them all.
Finally this morning, we have Dark Water Designs. My personal favorite is the reptilian print pants in charcoal. These are really versatile and a nice alternative to jeans or plain leather. There are also 6 different print mini tanks in jewel-tone colors and a high-waisted denim mini this time around.
Its a cool, rainy Sunday in my corner of the world today – perfect weather for doing a little exploring and shopping in SL. The Cart Sale is a great place to accomplish both those goals. I have been really impressed with the diversity of items that the designers have come up with this time around, not to mention the sheer number of merchants that are taking part. At 120+ carts, this is the biggest Cart Sale event to date!
First up today in our bag of goodies is Heartsick. They make gorgeous skins and shapes and have come up with some stunning items this time around. Both of the girl skins come with shapes, and the male skins come with 2 shapes.
Clutter has beautiful landscaping items to enhance your home and living space. They are offering several different trees and stumps with pretty little flowers and plants which would add a gorgeous finishing touch to your yard, park or outdoor space.
If you are looking for a little walk on the wild side, Aberrant has you covered! They have a trio of hot little slip dresses with a shredded detail on the backs, some cute lacy little bras and leopard-print detailed boy briefs in a variety of vibrant colors to choose from.
A.R.C.+F.N. are covering all the bases this time around! They have sexy little latex outfits, some very pretty jewelry sets, some home decor items, and even a furnished house, all for 10L each. My personal favorite was the donut seats!
As Day 4 of the Cart Sale winds down, we have a final set of goodies to share with you guys until tomorrow’s treasures get posted! I took a walk around The Wash sim earlier today and the turnout looked pretty good – this is an awesome chance to get some real quality items at bargain basement prices. Weekends in SL are usually pretty busy, so if you have trouble teleporting into the sim, give it a few minutes and try again – the sim capacity has been maxed out a few times already.
Leading the way in this last post of the day is Styla. They have a great mix of styles in the items on their cart, ranging from a furnished greenhouse to a cozy purple armchair to a cute park bench complete with trees and birds.
RVi Design has some beautiful items to add to your SL living space as well. There are several grottos and caves, a beautiful meditation chamber and many of the items are fairy-themed with just a touch of whimsy.
There is a definite retro vibe going on with the lovely items available from La Flat. The art prints and furnishing textures are gorgeously done and the pieces would make a terrific accent in your home. I especially liked the dish set. =)
Our final peek tonight comes from Hopscotch – 9 poses that anyone who enjoys taking pictures, creating store ads, etc. would love to have. These will be added to my collection of poses for the blog for sure!
Day 4 of the Cart Sale and we are thrilled to bring you a peek at 4 more of the great designers who are taking part in the event which is running until March 22.
SD Wears has an eclectic mix of goodies, including a funky pair of patchwork boots and a gorgeous gown in sunset colors. The “Bygone” polo is intended for the guys, but I liked it on me too, so… =)
Before the men get all worked up that I “stole” their shirt from SD Wears – we have a FANTASTIC set of items just for you by Lash-Ware! They are offering 5 complete male outfits, each with multiple wear options as well as several fatpack sets of socks for men and women and boxers (all the fatpacks come with a lot more colors than those shown here).
Also in the oh-so-generous with the fatpacks category, you have got to check out Somnia‘s Cart! With the exception of the house build, every separate they have for the Cart Sale comes in a fatpack with a ton of colors. we’ve shown a couple from each set, but you get so much more than what is pictured here – they really went all out for you shoppers and the tiny 10L price makes these sets an absolute steal.
Finally in this post, we have some really cute stuffed toys from The Joker’s Jinx. The 3 dolls are styled from Batman (Batman, Joker and Harley Quinn) and come with several different sized versions in the sets.
I had some technical difficulties in getting the pictures uploaded yesterday, but seems like the problem is all fixed today. Gotta love the internet sometimes. =)
Cart Sale is going strong and I hear the sim has been full up a few times in the last couple days. Remember – if you can’t get in, keep trying! There is a 40 person limit on the sim, so it might take a few minutes to get in, but it is definitely worth the effort!
Lois Allen has a beautiful collection of soft, feminine dresses for their Cart this time around. The ivory “Fresh Floral” was my favorite from the dresses this time around, but they are all gorgeously textured and detailed and at 10L each, a great way to spruce up your spring wardrobe.
I loved the pottery sets from Tranquility Way Station – the photos really don’t do the colors justice. These would be gorgeous pieces to have in your home or personal space in SL.
Allusions has some pretty nice pieces for sale at their cart. Their men’s jeans are really great and the teal lace shrug is just gorgeous. Most of their items come as separates and the classical styling will lend itself to mix ‘n matching with a lot of different styles.
Unique Clothing has put together some really interesting outfits, several of which even include shoes! The boots in the Megan outfit are beautiful and the short cocktail dresses are really too good to pass up.
The Strawberry Box makes all kinds of cute, well-textured, comfortable home furnishing items and their Cart Sale items are fantastic examples of what they offer in their main store. These pieces would look beautiful in a variety of settings. The preserves cabinet was especially cute, with the little labeled jars inside.
The Cart Sale event is hoppin’ and the sim had a quick restart this morning, so lag is a minimum – its a great time to head on over and check out the 120+ designers taking part in this event!
Xtreme Designs makes fantastic and fantastical tip jars and their selection for the Cart Sale this year is amazing. Rotating handcuffs to a pirate’s treasure chest to my own personal favorite this time around, the Naughty Alf – there is something to meet just about any tip jar need you might have. If you do use the jars regularly (DJ, Club, etc) be sure to visit their main store as well because they really do some amazing work.
When I opened the box sent in by The Little Bat and started going through the items they have up at the Cart Sale, I was *thrilled*. Gorgeous goth skins (including a fatpack of 12 skins, each with different makeup!), a pretty neat unisex facial piercing set, and some edgy clothing – remember when I said there were some steals at this event? This is one of them, no doubt!
Ms. B. Designs has been around for a while now, creating some really beautiful couples and individual poses for SL. Their Cart Sale items this time around are absolutely delightful. There are a few cuddly couples poses (including a wedding pose), some model-ish individual poses which will be finding a home in my blog pose stands, but the standout pose for me was the “Our First Place” pose, which includes the sold real estate sign.
Mind Games is a new-to-me entrant in the Cart Sale and I was excited to get a peek at what they were bringing to the event. The clothing all has a soft, feminine feel to it, but what really sold me was the black Dussun jacket. I am looking forward to seeing more clothing from this store in future Cart Sales.
The Cart Sale is in full swing on The Wash sim and we have another peek at some of the great items you can find during this event. At just 10L or under, there are some fantastic deals to be had!
First up today is EDS – if sexy is what you are after, these outfits definitely fit the bill and guys – there is even a little something for you! The C-Minor pants in black will be finding a permanent home in my wardrobe.
Enticing Designs brings us an array of outfits from formal gowns to casual wear. The colors and textures are perfect for this time of transition from winter to spring. The Candace cocktail dress, with its black and white dots setting off the pink flowers definitely stood out for me.
Gem Elegance Fine Jewelry has brought another bevy of beautiful designs this time around. Hummingbirds are a particularly favorite theme of this designer, and they are reflected in some gorgeously feathered pieces. The male necklaces invoke a sense of the more primal, with detailed indian and aztec designs.
Rounding out this post is Graffitiwear. Their styles run the gamut from tropical cool to flirty, with a mix of complete outfits and mix’n’matchable separates. The tropical print slip dresses were a particular favorite of mine – the vividness of the colors is just gorgeous.
