One last post for the Cart Sale this time around, unless we get a last minute addition from one of the designers! The event runs until March 13th, so you still have plenty of time to head over if you haven’t visited already. Everything on the carts is 10L or under. The designers are some of the best in SL and their Cart items run the gamut from clothing (normal and petites) to skins and shapes to home furnishings and decor items.
Lois Allen Design has a beautifully colorful collection of gowns and cocktail dressed on their cart. Our favorite, hands down, was the “Delightful in magenta” gown simply because the color was so rich and the dress flowed so nicely while wearing it.
N@N@ always brings bright, bold jewelry to the Cart Sale events, and her collection this time around is just gorgeous. The Dita bracelet set would go great with a casual look and the Ingrid set was our favorite of the necklace/earring sets.
Hump day and we are halfway to the weekend, folks! If you haven’t been by the Cart Sale yet – what the heck are you waiting for? There are deals galore at some of the lowest prices you will find in SL. Everything on the carts is 10L or under. This is a great group of designers and there is something for just about every taste. Come on down and poke around a bit!
If you go looking for the items we are showcasing from AIDORU, be sure to check both of their carts – for this event, they have 2 carts instead of just 1. They are offering all kinds of beautiful items including jewelry for men and women, a really pretty couples ring set, and even shoes for both genders!
Think pink when you visit d.l.s.! Their designs this time around are showcasing gorgeous pink tones from delicate pale shades to vibrant hot pinks. Everything goes with everything else, so you should be able to score some really great designs.
Zibber Designs has an eclectic mix of items on their cart, ranging from short little plaid skirts to lacy babydoll socks and colorful camisks. The fatpacks are very nice as well, with an excellent assortment of colors in each one.
If you are looking for something casual but pretty, B!ASTA has a great assortment of outfits and accessories to choose from. At these low prices, it’s an awesome chance to stock up on staple wardrobe pieces.
Dark Water Designs has a fun collection of separates that can be mix ‘n matched to create your own personal style, ranging from black and white skulls to pink leopard print. The guys are included too, with an electric blue trench coat and velvet scarf.
This is the perfect time to visit the Wash sim if you have not already made a trip to the biannual Cart Sale. There are tons of stuff created by some of SL’s best designers, all for the low, low price of 10L or under for the duration of the event.
Myst Fashion is a new-to-me store, but the floral dress they sent us is just lovely and I am looking forward to seeing more of their items.
Tree House Treasures has an eclectic mix of fun items entered in the Cart Sale – from a delicate headpiece to a funky peacock chair to a staple wall, there is something to appeal to your quirky side. I especially loved the trampoline – the jumping animation is so much fun!
Aside from the pretty clothing items offered by Zanzibar creationZ, we absolutely fell in love with the nose pegs – these are seriously cute with tags ranging from a mustache to AFk.
External Appearance Shapes has a fantastic looking collection of shapes on their cart. Since shapes look so different depending on the skin/eyes/hair, we are happy to publish their own pictures to make it easier for you to find exactly the shape you want when you visit them.
Phoebe Piercings & more has some really great pieces for both the ladies and the guys. Several pieces have color change options as well.
Feeling the Monday blues? Head over to The Wash and do a little retail therapy at the Cart Sale event! There are tons of designers, oodles of good stuff to find and can’t be beat prices of 10L or under on everything. Tonight, we have a closer look at Hot Stuff, RnB Designs Furniture, Hatter’n Hell, Heartsick and Low prim Living.
Hot Stuff’s clothing is sexy and edgy – a great combination! The outfits look great on their own and can easily be mixed with items you already have to create some unique looks all your own.
RnB Designs Furniture traditionally brings us beautiful home items during Cart Sale events and they have outdone themselves this time around. The attention to detail, the superb texturing and the timelessness of the designs combine to make some truly special home furnishings.
Green seems to be the color of the month for Hatter’n Hell! They are offering a wide variety of items in keeping with the upcoming St. Patrick’s day tradition of wearing green. From hats to tea service, they have a little bit of everything for your pleasure.
Heartsick’s skins and shapes are always gorgeous, detailed and come in beautiful skin tones. This time around, they are offering skins for both regular and petite avs in simply luscious tones.
Low Prim Living’s items are exactly that – great home decor items that make your SL a more enjoyable space and don’t tip your prim counts into the stratosphere. They have a littel bit of everything, from a solo dance platform to rolled towels with a scattering of rose petals to a champagne bath for two.
We’re halfway through the weekend and the deals are still going fast and furious at the Cart Sale currently taking place at The Wash sim. There are carts everywhere, loaded with goodies from designers from all across SL. Everything is 10L or under and many carts have special freebies, dollarbies, or Cart Sale exclusives you can only get before the event ends. If you have some time this weekend, be sure to come by and check it out!
Wee Ones never fails to delight with a great mix of items from the practical to fantastical. The eyelid shadowing especially caught my eye – the effect is subtle, but does add just that little bit more to making your av look realistic. The floating koi were super cute and, no further explanation needed, BOOTS!
Evilkyoot has just got a boatload of fatpacks for you on their cart this time around! The items are all mix ‘n matcheable, not to mention a nice selection of St. Patrick’s Day themed items for those of you gearing up for March 17th.
This is Red Dahlia’s Boutique’s first time joining the Cart Sale events (welcome!) and I got a giggle when I unpacked their box – an ode to “Grease”, which is one of my all-time favorite movies. Their items are cute and well made, so be sure to give them a warm shopper’s welcome to the Cart Sale family.
Rispetto Designs is synonymous with good quality male fashion and their Cart Sale items reflect that reputation. The attention to detail is superb and the pieces would be easy to incorporate into an existing wardrobe.
Somnia always has great collections on their cart, including lots of fatpacks and some really pretty designs. The rainbow knit mini and top were our favorite pieces this time around.
Whew! Today has been a crazed, hectic day and I didn’t get the chance to post the next Cart Sale peek earlier today…so…double-sized post coming up! The Cart Sale is in full swing on the Wash sim and its been bustling every time I had the chance to peek over this evening. Everything on the carts is 10L or under and there are a TON of freebies, dollarbies and Cart Exclusives, so be sure to head over and poke around a bit.
Amour Fashion/Signature has some lovely mesh pieces on their Cart, including boots (yay!), sweaters and a fabulous little black dress designed specifically to tempt your special someone.
RVi has a collection of rustic furniture pieces available this time around, as well as several jewelry sets. Several of the jewelry sets are based on zodiac signs and “galaxy” pieces, giving you several different combination possibilities.
Fab-Fae is offering some unique outfits for both regular-sized avs and petites – the red “Heartbreaker” dress is just beautiful, almost enough to entice me to finally give in and get myself a petite avvie!
Krystal has some of the most delicate jewelry I have seen in SL in a long time. So delicate, in fact, that the photos we got do not do the actual items justice. We played with the lighting a bit to try to make them more visible (the chains are so slender, just gorgeous work!). These pieces really need to be seen in person to appreciate the detail put into them.
MV, as always, has some great mesh items for those who prefer their fashion a little more on the dark side – with a healthy dose of fun. The Zombie corset and matching boots were my favorite of the collection.
Just for you middle-of-the-night shopaholics, we have another look at the awesome items currently available at the Cart Sale going on at the Wash. As always, everything is 10L or under and this is a great opportunity to stock up on essentials or to splurge and treat yourself to something special without breaking the bank.
Next up: The Little Bat and Xtreme Designs
The Little Bat always has a unique take on clothing and jewelry and they are running true to form this time around at the Cart Sale. The corsets come in gorgeous dark tones and the dresses with leggings are just adorable.
Xtreme Designs makes mostly tip jars, but their designs are always so much fun, these jars could easily be used as decor to personalize your own little corner of SL. We especially loved the tiki flip-flop and the “Wash Me” bear.
The Cart Sale at the Wash kicked off yesterday and those of you who have taken part in previous Cart Sales know what kinds of deals can be had. If you are new to the Cart Sales, in a nutshell, the event is held twice a year on the Wash sim and consists of street carts filled with goodies from designers all over SL. Everything is 10L or under, several carts are offering special dollarbies or freebies, and I am seeing a lot of exclusive-to-the-Cart-Sale-event items pass through our blogger box. This is a really great opportunity to check out the Wash sim and score some awesome items for yourself in Second Life.
Today we are taking a closer look at DemotiK and Sentou Yousei.
I am a shoe person. Shoes make me happy like nothing else. Both these designers made me giddy as a schoolgirl when we got their boxes unpacked and tried on what they sent.
DemotiK has a really great pair of claw-toed feet for those of you who are more demonically inclined. They fit great and were really easy to color match to my av’s skintone. Also – the Silvery Heels/Smokey Heels shoes look fabulous worn and they had some really cute petite outfits up for grabs.
Sentou Yousei, what can I say? I loved everything. The mesh boleros are cute as a button (and fit my av without me needing to make any adjustments to the shape, which is a huge plus in my books) and the boots are just fantastic.
We’ll have another look at some of these great designers later today, so stay tuned to this blog page!
Our blogger box is being stuffed to the brim with goodies from the designers taking part in the current Cart Sale going on at the Wash sim and we are having a blast unpacking everything so we can share the goodness with you guys! Everything is 10L or under and the sim does get crowded at times, so if you have trouble accessing the event, just keep trying.
We’ve got a look at items from NBGG and R.U.Rogue this evening. NBGG has some really gorgeous skins at rock bottom prices for this event. You really can’t go wrong with any of their offerings – we especially loved the darker tones in the “Beckett” style.
R.U. Rogue left us feeling a little overwhelmed at the sheer diversity of items they created for the Cart Sale. From clothing to nekko accessories to a complete mermaid outfit to a great looking metal patio, they have something to appeal to everyone.
Keep your eye on this blog space – we have a ton more to show you from the Cart Sale!
