Mr. Rufus’s Hood – August Spotlight

A rose by any other name is not a rose, or in this case an Orchid. Yes everyone it has been some time since the last edition of Mr. Rufus’s Hood, but the fire has been lit again.

 Orchid Spreading her petals

I have taken my vacation and went to the high mountains and found a wild flower growing in the mist of the Car Wash.

This edition of my spotlight is on Orchid Somerset.  A fairly new employee to the Car Wash has already made her mark on SL.  She is an avid shape maker because she likes to dabble in the mystic powers while creating life in her skybox lab.

Having diverted away from the norm of the typical model shape and skin, she has tweaked herself on the SL treadmills in those back alley gyms.  This flower is not one to be picked but rather observed from the confines of the Car Wash.

But on a more serious note, she has a big heart for the newbies of SL.  With the “pay it forward attitude” she tries to help those who need a little guidance whether it’s in the Car Wash or just trying to put their underwear on.

When asked if she has a role model in SL, her reply was “I don’t know if I can pinpoint any one person who has meant more to me than anyone else, but certainly all the kind helpful people in SL that are out there have made the experience so much more enjoyable for me and everyone else… It’s really why I try to help out the newbies, i like to “pay it forward” if you will.

With an attitude like that only good pollen can come out of this flower.  So if you have no known allergies take the time to stop by the Car Wash and meet one our new hosts, Orchid Somerset.  I guarantee she will give off an aroma!

See you next exciting edition of Mr. Rufus’s Hood
